How to Make the Simplest and Most Delicious Apple Pie
4 regular-sized apples
5.5 dl of Knåda "Mjöl" flour
1.5 dl of sugar
1 tbsp of vanilla sugar
3 tbsp of cinnamon
125 g of butter
Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
Slice the apples, no need to be too precise, and place them in a bowl. Mix in the cinnamon and 0.5 dl of sugar.
Transfer the apple mixture to a shallow baking dish, approximately 9x9 inches (23x23 cm) in size.
In another bowl, combine the remaining ingredients: Knåda "Mjöl" flour, vanilla sugar, and the rest of the sugar. Mix well, and then pour this mixture over the apples. Smooth the surface so that all the apple pieces are covered.
Slice the butter into thin pieces or use a cheese slicer. Place the slices on top of the mixture to cover all the flour.
Bake in the oven at 175°C (350°F) for approximately 35-40 minutes, or until the pie is golden brown.
Note: This apple pie pairs wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
